bio
Zoe Wood has worked as an editor, photographer, writer, researcher and general office slave. After graduating from George Washington University with a degree in Chinese Language and Literature, she toiled away in a communications firm, immersed in the food fight that is DC politics. She further mastered her wordcraft studying linguistics at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. From that experience, she learned the value of large hats and sun block. After a year-and-a-half detour to Beijing, where she served as an editor for PR Newswire China and an avid seat-filler in the 2008 Beijing Games, Zoe has made her way to San Francisco where she devotes most of her time to Truly Obscure, but also volunteers at several local organizations and occasionally freelances in everything.
Her favorite food: pizza. Her favorite color: blue. Her pet peeve: that there is no gender-neutral, third-person singular pronoun. Her favorite video game: Rock Band II. Her favorite movie: Ping Pong.
