Brush the Dirt Off Your Shoulder. Wheel Easy LE Makes Yard Jobs Light Work
As we head into summer, it is time to transition the weeds and other unruly thickets into some lush, green, plants with blooming flowers. A few months ago we convinced those of you who prefer to avoid the outdoor mishaps that indoor gardening would be worth your while for with the Aerogarden 3. Now we are strongly encouraging you to get outside and soak up some Vitamin D (wearing sunscreen, of course, preferably SPF 45). We’ve even got some suggestion for how to avoid the bachaches that can typically accompany gardening and yardwork.
The Wall Street Journal gave Allsop’s Wheel Easy LE a top Ten gardening product of the year award, and we had to see what all the hype was about. We decided to give the Wheel Easy LE a try. They have revamped your typical wheelbarrow from the metal basin with wooden handles into a lightweight fabric canvas design complete with foam-rubber handles for better handling and comfort. The single wheel is a rubber tire and did a nice job handling our cobblestone path and bumping over our not-so-even yard.
Our chores are further lessened with ground-flush loading that allows us to simply move uprooted weeds, dirt, or leaves straight from the ground into the basin. It was made easy by the fact we didn’t have to twist or bend in an awkward or uncomfortable position. We could sweep our debris directly into the canvas barrow. We were equally impressed with how the Wheeleasy LE held up during inclimate weather such a thunderstorms and the omnipresent bird splatter. Clean-up was simple as we washed with a wet rag (you can also enlist the help of your hose). It is also UV-resistant and can hold up to 150 pounds of dirt or bark. We would go so far as to say this is the ideal wheelbarrow for carting items around to and from your garage or home. It was simple to maneuvor and fit into our car and garage without needing much room as it folds up. We would suggest using this to cart camping gear or any items that need to go to and fro.
The Wheeleasy does come in two sizes. The LE is great for those of us with smaller yards or projects. We were able to purchase from Amazon for around $62. If you have a larger task at hand consider the original Wheel Easy, which has a capacity of 350lbs.
