Dexim Offers the MHub: USB, iPhone and iPod Docking, SD Card Reading
It’s a wonder that it took so long for someone to come out with an attractive, multi-functional dock like Dexim’s mHub available through RichardSolo. But it shouldn’t be a surprise that we liked it quite a bit- it doesn’t handle every memory card format, but that’s OK.

They seem to be aiming the product at laptop users, and in fact it does seem well-suited for Macbook Air users who lack these things- and the nice silver matches pretty well. They even included mini and micro USB cables, a travel bag, a wall plug for when you don’t have access to a powered on computer, and a special USB cable to power the dock. Certified as both “Works with iPhone” and “Works with iPod”, it works with the 3G and any other model with a normal iPod dock connector.
You get 3 powered USB ports on the hub, along with the HCSD/SD/MMC reader, all of which worked well and installed easily on Vista, XP, and OSX. And the bottom of the unit has some non-stick feet, making sure that the hub doesn’t slip and slide along your desktop. It’s cute, small, and seems well-made of aluminum. The bottom line: it’ll set you back $70, a fair chunk of change, but a decent deal considering the functions and overall quality of the device. Available from Brookstone, Target, and RichardSolo.
