Two for Tea (Part 2)
In Part 1, we looked at two tea makers- now it’s time to look at another pair: Golden Moon and PetitTea.

Golden Moon sells a wide variety of teas in classy packaging, at prices around $8 an ounce. They also offer single-serving samples as well, with the normal white, green, black, and herbal varieties with plenty of options to choose from. We tried the Coconut Pouchong, which was awarded Best Tea at the 2007 World Tea Expo- and deservedly so, as it was one of the most distinctive teas we’ve tried. Easily drinkable, with both sweetness and body, it doesn’t taste at all artificial, and we will definitely be going back for more.
PetitTea offers something different, and not just another type of tea. Instead, they sell decent teas in a brand new way- the teastick. At first glance, you wonder why no one has thought of them before- single-use, foil-wrapped tea infusers. They look more futuristic than bags, even the modern pyramid ones, and work pretty well. They don’t change the taste of the tea, but don’t pack as compactly as bags, and don’t work so well with some cups (really tall or really wide cups are awkward to use). Check out the Mango Monsoon or the Darjeeling Dew- and people will definitely ask about the odd item in your teacup.
