The Preserve cutting board from Recycline is the first in a series of eco-friendly kitchen gadgets that we’ll be looking at in the weeks to come. We’re using the $25 large board (14” x 11”) in the Milk White color, and have been putting this board through paces- and it’s holding up admirably! Even after being subjected to high heat, numerous staining foods like blackberries and tumeric, straight and serrated knives and many runs through the dishwasher, it still looks as nice as the day it arrived. It’s easy to appreciate the design of this cutting board: the curved edges make it easy to hang on to it while chopping, and easy to lift and move as well. There is a slight well or concavity in the center of the board, so even when you’re slicing juicy tomatoes or peaches everything pools toward the center of the board, instead of running off of the edges.

All of the Preserve products are made out of 100% recycled plastic, and are all recyclable themselves, in communities that have #5 recycling.
