Beer and ice cream? Has my wildest dream come true? Two of my most favorite things together and friends? Never since Drew Carey’s ‘Buzz Beer’ coffee beer concoction has a better concept come around. And Ben and Jerry’s Ice Cream was wise enough to leave it a concept. I mean seriously, who wants beer in their ice cream?

So when Ben and Jerry’s put the two of them together, they emphasized the cream in the cream stout and swirled it with chocolate. But worry not. There is a little teeny bit of beer-taste in there—enough to make eating it a buzz.

It’s nothing we’d crave, and it doesn’t quite satisfy the 12-stepper in you. But it’s a good alternative to other flavors, and it does go pretty well with beer.
