Naptime Comfort

After your long, hard day or work (or play), nothing says relaxation like a nap. Unless you have something against sleep?

If you’re like the rest of us, you’ll probably give yourself over to the resting urge for a third of your life. You might as well be comfortable- and Brookstone has come up with creation after creation to ensure that you are never without items that say “I enjoy the finer things in life, even when I’m asleep and can’t fully enjoy them”.

OK, we admit it. The research for this article consisted of some serious napping, and we’re kind of proud of that. But that research has shown us, conclusively, that the Brookstone isn’t lying when they call it “The World’s Most Touchable Blanket”, or when they toss about adjectives like cosy, cuddly, or soothing. Much softer than your normal blanket, the Nap Cuddle Blanket comes in several sizes and colors, and is totally washable- it doesn’t seem to lose softness after washing either. If you’re looking for a fairly warm blanket, perfect for travelling, look no further.

Their QuickNap pillow has the same soft exterior material as the blanket- but pillows are more variable than blankets. One person’s pillow is too hard or soft or squishy for another, and we found this pillow to be fairly firm and a tad overfilled. If that’s how you like your pillows, you’re in luck, because they look great and even come with a cute eyemask made from the same fabric. Oh, and the pillows only come in white; you’ll need an optional cover to add color.

Exclusively available at Brookstone, $45 for the blanket, $40 for the pillow, $15 for the covers. They also offer a travel pillow, slippers and more made from the same extremely comfortable material.
