One Less Thing To Clean?
We here at Truly Obscure like buttons. We really like buttons- especially when they are supposed to make life easier, say, by cleaning our shower automatically.
Great devices fill a need you didn’t even realize you had. Our reviewers apparently thought their showers were already self-cleaning, but according to the folks at Scrubbing Bubbles, such is not the case. Which is why we’ve been testing their new Automatic Shower Cleaner, available through Skymall now and stores soon, and going for $40.
Their ad copy says “even if you start with a dirty shower, you’ll see an astounding difference in days”- which is a tad confusing, because wouldn’t the device not make much of a difference if you started with a clean shower? Regardless, our shower is cleaner, and that’s all that counts.
Basically, hang the device from your showerhead, press a button after a shower, and in fifteen seconds the Automatic Shower Cleaner sprays a special solution in 360 degrees. It takes about 12 seconds, and here’s an important tip- make sure your shower curtain is completely pulled or you’ll be wiping the special solution from your walls. And you might also want to be out of the room, or leave a window open, because the smell is powerful- not bad, just quite strong.
The cleaner uses 4 batteries (included), and comes with two bottles of solution (enough for quite a few uses)- now the only thing we need is a device with a button to clean off our Automatic Shower Cleaner.
